COVID-19 Precautions at the Cowboy Clinic
The Cowboy Clinic & Urgent Care follows all CDC recommendations to reduce the spread of Covid-19. All patients and visitors entering the clinic are required to wear a mask for the duration of their stay. Additional Cleaning Measures:
In addition to standard cleaning precautions, the Cowboy Clinic & Urgent Care employs state of the art disinfection utilizing electrostatic viral and bactericidal treatments to all surfaces between patients to mitigate cross contamination between patients. Additionally reverse high flow exhaust has been installed along with HEPA air filtration to aid in the the turnover of air in examination rooms providing fresh clean air to mitigate potential airborne contaminants.
Covid-19 Testing Information-
Cowboy Clinic and Urgent Care has multiple testing options to suit your needs.
PCR- The Covid-19 PCR test is the Gold Standard for Covid-19 testing. PCR tests are the most accurate and reliable means of detecting the virus in the presence and/or the absence of any symptoms. Turn around time is approximately 48 hours.
Rapid Antigen Testing- Covid-19 Rapid antigen testing is completed in as quickly as 10 minutes. Providing the patient with a reliable result in a rapid time frame. The Rapid Antigen test for Covid-19 completed in the clinic is less accurate than the laboratory PCR test, but more accurate than any available at home Covid-19 test. This test requires that the patient meet very specific criteria including symptomology and timing which must be determined by the provider prior to administration of the test.
Antibody testing- Covid-19 antibody testing informs of a past infection of the Covid-19 virus.
